This is an index error. By other accounts it was May Grant, not Margaret, who married this Robert Innes in 1805.

The text of the marriage entry could be mistaken for an abbreviation of Margaret , Margt, if the final stroke of the 'y' is mistaken for a 't' and the 'y' itself is interpreted as 'rg', but when the name is enlarged it is clearly 'May _ Grant'.
