Erskine married Elizabeth FORBES, daughter of Thomas FORBES 4th of Ballogie (Tilliesnaught in Birse parish) and Christian CUMINE of Pitullie, 3 May 1793 (1794?).1 2 (Elizabeth FORBES was born about 1768.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Thomas (Forbes), who married in 1757 Christian Cumine of Pitullie - he bought Tilliesnaught in Birse and called it Ballogie. His only son, William, died aged 10, in 1778, and he had three daughters: Christian, married 1783 Charles Gordon of Buthlaw. Mary, married 1784 General Alexander Leith-Hay of Leith Hall . Elizabeth, married 1794 Colonel Erskine Fraser of Woodhill."

" Colonel Erskine Fraser was born on 23 June 1766. He was the son of William Fraser of Fraserfield and Rachel Kennedy. He married Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of Thomas Forbes of Ballogie, on 3 May 1793. He died on 2 January 1804 at age 37. He lived at Woodhill, Shropshire, England"
