James married Margaret HAMILTON, daughter of John HAMILTON 5th of Udston and Margaret MUIRHEAD, on 19 February 1606.¹ (Margaret HAMILTON was born about 1592.)

"(110) Sir James Hamilton of Broomhill. Will recorded 4th March 1663 (Hamilton and Campsie). He married Margaret, daughter of William Hamilton of Udston, and had issue : -
