Daughter married Sir Malcolm MURRAY Sheriff of Perthshire, son of Disputed father (John? Walter?) DE MORAVIA and Unknown.¹ (Sir Malcolm MURRAY Sheriff of Perthshire was born about 1220 and died before 1289 ^{1 2}.)

"Sir Malcolm Moray, or Murray, witness to a charter granted by Malise, Earl of Strathearn, between 1251 and 1263, is probably the Sir Malcolm 'de Moravia ' who appears between 1250 and 1260 as owner of land in Roxburghshire. He was designed Sheriff of Perth in a charter, dated between 1270 and 1282, by Malise, Earl of Strathearn, to Sir Malise of Logy. His son William is also a witness. In the Registrum de Dunfermelyn there is a charter by a Sir Malcolm 'de Moravia,' dated 20 July 1274, by which he gave to the Church of Dunfermline his lands of Beath Wester, which grant was confirmed by Sir Alexander Moray at Culbin before the 1st August the same year, and by the King 10 March 1277. About the year 1280, Sir Malcolm gave his lands of Lhanbryde in Moray to his son William. He died before 1289, having, it is said, married the daughter and heir of Gilbert of Gask, with whom he had the lands of Gask and others in Perthshire, and had issue :

1. John, son and heir, who gave his lands of Culnacloich and Ruthtrelan in Strathbogie, about the year 1284, to his brother William to be held of the Earls of Sutherland, and also the lands of Aldie, to be held of the Earls of Strathearn. On 29 October 1289, he granted to the Abbey of Balmerino certain lands in Perth, among the witnesses to this charter being William Moray, described as the granter's heir.
