"Sir Colin Campbell, 1st Bt. was born between 1599 and 1618. He was the son of Hon. Colin Campbell of Lundie and Maria Campbell.

On 15 May 1619 he was served heir to his father. He was created 1st Baronet Campbell, of Lundy in Angus, co. Forfar [Nova Scotia] on 13 December 1627. He lived at Lundie, Angus, Scotland. Before 1648 he sold the estate of Lundie to another Campbell.

  Marriage Notes:

"He (Colin Campbell 1st Baronet) m. by 30 June 1623, to Jean Stirling with whom he disponed his lands of Polkello, and others, to Sir William Graham of Claverhouse on 7 May 1630 and they afterwards also disponed the lands and barony of Lundie to Sir John Blackadder of Tulliallan, and Mungo Campbell, fiar of Lawers, by Disposition dated 17 and 21 February 1633."
