The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. Robert Netson, assistant minister at South Leith Church, married the couple. The witnesses were Alexander Thomson, of 52 Marionville Drive, Edinburgh, and Mary S.G.Christie. of the same address.
