Eda married Hugh LORENS.1 (Hugh LORENS was born about 1140.)

  Marriage Notes:

"The first Fraser who appears in Scotland is Simon Fraser of Keith, who, about 1160, granted the church of Keith with a large tract of ground to the monks of Kelso. He died before 1190, when his daughter and heiress Eda, with her husband Hugh Lorens, confirmed this grant to the monks. Eda and Hugh Lorens had a daughter Eda who married Philip de Keith, Marischal of Scotland."

from The Scots Peerage (vol 7)

"In 1184 the name of Simon Fraser appears as a witness to a perambulation of the boundaries of the lands of Mordwheit or Morthwayt, made by order of King William the Lion, who gave them to the Abbey of Newbottle ; and his death must have taken place during the next few years, for, in 1190, his daughter and heiress, Eda, with her husband, Hugh Lorens, confirmed his charter of the Church of Keith to the monks of Kelso, and the issue of this marriage was a daughter and heiress, also named Eda, who became the wife of Philip, the King's Marischal, and the two districts of Keith were united in the possession of their son Hervey, the Marischal, by whom, and by his son John de Keith, in his turn also Marischal, the grant of Simon Fraser to the monks of Kelso was confirmed."
