"James Dyce of Disblair was born on 17 October 1687 at Disblair House, Newmachar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He was the son of Andrew Dyce and Janet Grey. He married Agnes Baxter, daughter of William Baxter and Isabel Brebner, on 25 November 1716 (see above Index entry) at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. He died on 10 January 1751 at age 63 at Disblair House, Newmachar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland."
