Daughter married Sir Patrick RUTHVEN of that Ilk, Sheriff-depute of Perth, son of Sir John RUTHVEN of that Ilk and Unknown.¹ (Sir Patrick RUTHVEN of that Ilk, Sheriff-depute of Perth was born about 1420.)

"Patrick Ruthven of that Ilk, most probably the Sheriff-depute of Perth 9 May 1444. He appears along with his father 2 June 1451. He is styled son of Sir John and grandson of Sir William, 24 December 1458. He was knighted soon after, and as Sir Patrick, was on a jury, 6 October 1461. He married a daughter of Sir Thomas Cranstoun of that Ilk, who is styled grandfather to his son and successor in 1465. He had issue: 1. William, his heir, first Lord Ruthven"
