"He (Walter Kinnaird of Culbin) had at least two sons, Alexander of Culbin and Patrick. The latter was possibly the Patrick Kinnaird, who in 1547 received a charter of the lands of Salterhill (Little Drainie), in possession of which he was succeeded by his son John and his grandson Patrick, the last-named of whom disposed of them to James Innes of Meikie Dralnie in 1616."
