On 12 March 1470 he was one of an inquest on the lands of Balgally, of which he had sasine 6 September 1473, and he was on another inquest on the same lands 17 March 1476-77. Neither the date of his death nor the name of his wife has been ascertained, but [(from SP vol 9) 'by her, whose Christian name was Margaret, (Reg. Mag. Sig., 28 October 1486).'] he had at least one son, William Kinnaird"
