Alexander married Margaret Kinnaird [6 Scottish Record Society Vol.1 p.115 see [2 RSS Vol.ii.777]] probably a daughter of the neighbouring family, Kinnaird of Inshture. They had issue: 1. Patrick Gray his heir 2. Alexander 3. John Gray of Kingoodie"
