Jane married Sir John GRIERSON of Lag, son of Sir Robert GRIERSON younger, of Lag, MP for Dumfriesshire and Margaret MURRAY, 9 October 1641(contract).1 (Sir John GRIERSON of Lag was born about 1623 and died on 26 February 1658 1.)

"Sir John Grierson of Lag was born circa 1623. He was the son of Sir Robert Grierson of Lag and Margaret Murray. He married by contract, firstly, Jane Fleming, daughter of John Fleming, on 19 October 1641. He married by contract, secondly, Isabel Boyd, daughter of Robert Boyd, 7th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Lady Christian Hamilton, on 10 October 1646."
