James married Isabell IRVINE, daughter of Alexander IRVINE younger, of Murthill and Jean CUMMING, by 16 February 1702.1 (Isabell IRVINE was baptised on 3 July 1664 6 and died by 7 May 1713 2.)

  Marriage Notes:

No marriage record has been found, but in the baptismal register we read that James Robertson "and his Lady", that is his spouse, had a child in 1702, so we know that the marriage had taken place by then.
