Anna married Hugh FRASER Master of Lovat, son of Hugh FRASER 7th Lord Fraser of Lovat and Isobel WEMYSS, on 30 April 1642 in Holyroodhouse Chapel, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (Hugh FRASER Master of Lovat was born in 1624 1 and died April 1643(dvp) 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Hugh (Fraser), also Master of Lovat, born 1624. He managed his father's affairs and estates, set up malt-kilns at Beauly, to which he transferred the Hallowmas fair from Kilmorack. He married, at Holyroodhouse, 30 April 1642, Anna Lesly, daughter of Alexander, Earl of Leven, and died vita patris in April 1643. His widow gave birth on 2 May of that year to a posthumous son....The son was : Hugh, who succeeded his grandfather as Lord Lovat."
