Andrew married Katherine FRASER, daughter of Hugh FRASER 7th Lord Fraser of Lovat and Isobel WEMYSS, on 17 October 1658.1 2 (Katherine FRASER was born in 1622 1 and died on 18 October 1663 1 2.)

"He married, first, 17 October 1658, Katherine Fraser, daughter of Hugh, eighth (see Note below) Lord Lovat, relict of Sir John Sinclair of Dunbeath, and of Robert, first Viscount of Arbuthnott. She died 18 October 1663 .... He had issue by his first wife"

Note:

The dates of marriage and death would make Katherine the daughter of Hugh Fraser and Isobel Wemyss.





"Katherine, born in 1622. She was married, rather against her will, to Sir John Sinclair of Dunbeath. After his death she was married, 30 June 1653, to her cousin, Lord Arbuthnot. He died in 1655, and his widow took, 17 October 1658, as her third husband, Lord Fraser of Muchalls. She died 18 October 1663."

Andrew next married Jean MACKENZIE, daughter of George MACKENZIE 2nd Earl of Seaforth and Barbara FORBES.2 (Jean MACKENZIE was born about 1629.)


  Marriage Notes:

"He (Andrew Fraser) married, secondly, Jean Mackenzie, daughter of George, second Earl of Seaforth, relict of John, Earl of Mar, who died September 1668. She was served to her terce 15 September 1674."
