Marriage Notes: "He (James Crichton) married .... Christian, daughter of Sir Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty, and relict of Thomas, Lord Rutherford. She married, after his death, George Morrison, to whom, after the death of her son William, third Viscount, she conveyed what remained of the estate of Frendraught, and by whom she had, though advanced in years, a son Theodore, who was served heir to his father on 1 August 1699 in the lands of Bognie, the dominical lands of Frendraught, the lands of Auchingoul, and others." |
