"Lord Ancram married, secondly, in 1621, Anne, only daughter of William Stanley, sixth Earl of Derby, by Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Edward Vere, seventeenth Earl of Oxford. She was the widow, without issue, of Sir Henry Portman of Orchard Portman, in the county of Somerset, who died 21 February 1621."

Anne next married Sir Robert KER 1st Earl of Ancram, son of William KER of Woodheid, apparent of Ancram and Unknown, in 1621.¹ (Sir Robert KER 1st Earl of Ancram was born about 1578 ¹ and died in December 1654 in Amsterdam, Holland ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Lord Ancram married, secondly, in 1621, Anne, only daughter of William Stanley, sixth Earl of Derby, by Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Edward Vere, seventeenth Earl of Oxford.... She survived Lord Ancram only a short time, being buried in Westminster Abbey 15 February 1656-57."
