"On 13th July 1459 he (William Murray) was given a safe-conduct by the English Chancellor, having been appointed a delegate to treat with the commissioners of King Henry VI. at Newcastle, and died soon after, having married Margaret Gray, which marriage is proved by an indenture dated 4 November 1490 between George Clephane, then her husband, and herself ..."
