FORRESTER, Adam of Corstorphine, Keeper of the Great Seal, Sir 1User ID: M607. Adam married Agnes DUNDAS, daughter of John DUNDAS of that Ilk and Unknown.1 (Agnes DUNDAS was born about 1354.) Marriage Notes: "He (Adam Forrester) is said to have married, first, Agnes, daughter of John Dundas of Dundas." Adam next married Margaret.1 (Margaret was born about 1355 and died after 20 May 1429 1.) Marriage Notes: "He (Adam Forrester) married, secondly, a lady whose Christian name was Margaret, and who, after the death of her husband, received an annuity of £10 from the customs of Edinburgh up to 1421.l She was living 20 May 1429, on which date she and her son, Sir John, founded two chaplainries in the chapel of St. John the Baptist at Corstorphine, for the souls of King James I., his Queen Johanna, and the deceased Sir Adam Forrester. By her he had, so far as known, two sons and a daughter" |
