General Notes: "Thomas Bisset, son of Thomas Bisset knight" is named in a sicut clause of a grant by King David II of Scots on 18 September 1370 rights to lands of Glasclune. He is identified as the son and heir of Sir Thomas Bisset. In turn, Thomas Bisset knight is identified having received the gift of the earldom of Fife as the husband of Isabella, Countess of Fife in 1363. (poms website) 1 2 |
