Whereby on the narrative that the said James Dunbars Lands of Easter Tarbet were 'thrallit sukkin' to the said Andrews Mill of the Milton of Meddat and on the narrative that the said Andrews father had permitted James Dunbar father of the said James to build a Mill upon his own Lands of Easter Tarbet and grind thereat the corns growing upon the said Lands the said Andrew Binds himself and his heirs to continue the same privilege to the said James Dunbar and his heirs; and the said James and his foresaids become bound to pay yearly to the granter and his heirs ten Bolls of Beir"

Whereby on the narrative of the long standing 'pley' between the proprietors of Meikle Tarrell and the said James Dunbar of Tarbet and his predessors respecting the claim advanced by them respectively to the said Annualrent of 50 shillings out of the Lands of Easter Aird and on the narrative of the Granterss desire to maintain friendship with the said James Dunbar they discharge for themselves their heirs and successors proprietors of Meikle Tarrell all action against the said James Dunbar of Tarbat and his heirs relative to the said annualrent."

Contract between Andrew Monro of Newmoir Catherine Urquhart his Spouse and George Monro their son on the one part and Marion McCulloche daughter and heir of the deceased John Makculloche of Meikle Tarrell with consent of Robert Monro of Foules James Dunbar of Tarbat George Dunbar of Awache and George Monro Chancellor of Ross her Curators on the other part

For the Marriage of the said George Monro (Younger of Newmoir) and the said Marion McCulloche; For which Marriage the said Andrew Monro becomes bound to infeft the said George and Marion in conjunct fee and the lawful heirs of their bodies whom failing to return to the said Georges heirs in the Lands of Milton of Meddet Mills and pertinents thereof to be held of the Crown for payment of the duties and others specified in the ancient Infeftments thereof under reservation of the liferent of the said Andrew and Catherine his Spouse also the said Andrew becomes bound to infeft the said Marion before her Marriage in liferent in the lands of Nitoune of Newmoir to be held of the Chaplain of Newmoir the Superior and also to dispone in favour of her and her heirs and assignees foresaid the ward non-entry and relief of the Lands of Meikle Tarrell together with the Marriage of the said Marion heiress thereof etc. etc. And the said Marion on her part becomes bound to pay in name of Tocher 8000 merks."
