"This Earl married, first, Marjory, daughter and one of the coheiresses of Sir Robert de Muschamp. The marriage must have taken place about 1243 or 1244, as on 20 March 1254-55 it was testified that Muriel, their eldest daughter, had reached the age of ten. The Countess died before the last date ....."
