(assistant) before 24th May 1671 ; deprived by Privy Council 7th Nov. 1689, for not reading the Proclamation of the Estates, etc. ; intruded at Rayne in 1703. He marr. Ann, daugh. of James Ogilvie of Raggell, and had issue James, rector of Lamarsh and Wickham St Paul, Essex ; John, at Aberdeen Univ. in 1709 ; Holland ; a daugh. (marr. George Ogilvie of Newrain).
