Grizell married Reverend Mr Alexander GRANT Minister of Cawdor parish, Nairn, son of Reverend Mr George GRANT Minister of Kirkmichael, Banffshire and Anne CHAPMAN, on 21 September 1782.¹ (Reverend Mr Alexander GRANT Minister of Cawdor parish, Nairn was baptised on 17 August 1744 in Kirkmichael parish, Banffshire, Scotland ³ and died on 28 June 1828 ¹.)

He marr. 21st Sept. 1782, Grace (born 4th Nov. 1752), daugh. of Colonel Alexander Fraser of Culduthil, and had issue Alexander, M.A., born 25th Aug. 1783; Ann, born 26th March 1785 (marr. 12th Sept. 1805, Captain William Fraser of Brackla, 92nd Foot); George, merchant, Liverpool, born 23rd June 1787; James, min. of Nairn, born 23rd June 1790; Grace, born 6th March 1793 (marr. 15th Sept 1815, Dr John Mackintosh of Firhall).
