Birkenburn states, on the authority of Rev. Professor Cooper it seems, that Alexander Adamson married Magdalen Stuart. The Grange Parish Registers show him as the husband of Helen Stuart.

Alexander next married Isobell SYME. (Isobell SYME was born about 1740.)
