General Notes: Curiously, although Isobel Gordon is named as a "sister of Alexander Gordon who bought Edintore and Coldwells in 1670" in the Birkenburn section of Cadets of Lesmoir, she is not named as such in the Edintore section. Only Euphemia is named as sister to Alexander Gordon and John Gordon 2nd Laird of Auchindacy. 1 Isobel married Robert LESLIE of Edintore & Coldwells. (Robert LESLIE of Edintore & Coldwells was born about 1620.) Marriage Notes: "3. Catharine, married as his second wife Robert Leslie of Edintore and Coldwells (near Keith). His first wife was Isobel Gordon, sister of Alexander Gordon who bought Edintore and Coldwells in 1670." |
