Elizabeth married Thomas INNES of Monellie, Writer to the Signet, son of Thomas INNES of Muiryfold, Factor of Earl Fife and Mary GORDON 'of Drumfoinle', on 27 October 1774 in Alford parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 2 (Thomas INNES of Monellie, Writer to the Signet was baptised on 14 November 1730 in Grange parish, Banffshire, Scotland,3 died on 6 September 1779 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland 5 and was buried in 1779 in Greyfriars Churchyard, Edinburgh, Scotland 5.). The cause of his death was fall from horse.
