  Marriage Notes:

The marriage took place according to the forms of the Original Secession Church. The minister was John Blakely D.D. The witnesses were William Gartshore and John Monro.

Alexander Gartshore, of Waterside Kirkintilloch was aged 25 years old and single. He worked as a blacksmith.

Rebecca Fraser, aged 24 years, was single and worked as a cotton weaver. Both of her parents were deceased. She too was living in Waterside Kirkintilloch.

The marriage was registered at Kirkintilloch on 16 March 1863. 1
