Another name for Arthur was SCOULAR, Arthur.2 General Notes: The 1871 census recorded the Scoular [sic] family of two parents and three small children living at Goudier Land, Cadgers Road, Riccarton, Ayrshire. Arthur, head of the family, was a coal miner. 2 Arthur married Marianne LAURIE, daughter of Hugh LAWRIE and Mary GEORGE (DNA Link), on 17 August 1866 in Riccarton parish, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (Marianne LAURIE was born on 23 June 1844 in Riccarton parish, Ayrshire, Scotland 3 4 5 and died on 26 September 1924 in 1 Tower Street, Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland 6.). The cause of her death was valvular disease of the heart/dilatation of the heart over 1 month and 14 days. |
