William was 32 years old and recorded as born in New Monkland parish, as was his mother who was recorded as 60 years of age. The children were William, aged 9 years, Elizabeth, aged 7 years, John aged 5 years, and Thomas, aged 2 years. All four were born in Cadder parish.
