When helen Brydon died, aged 84 years, in 1876, she was recorded as the widow of Walter Brydon, shepherd. Both of her parents were deceased. ¹

Helen N. Tait, granddaughter of the deceased woman who had been present where the death occurred, gave notice of her death before the registrar at Peebles on 21 April 1876. ¹
