Jean married Reverend Mr James GARTHSHORE Minister at Carmichael, Father of the Synod, son of Reverend Dr James GARTSHORE of that Ilk, Minister at Tranent, Parson of Cardross and MAXWELL, on 20 July 1696 in Edinburgh, Scotland.1 (Reverend Mr James GARTHSHORE Minister at Carmichael, Father of the Synod was born about 1672 and died in 1745 3.)


  Marriage Notes:

A record for this couple, James Garthshor and Jane Grhame [sic], exists in Edinburgh parish registers dated 11 July 1696, probably the proclamation of marriage. 2
