Anne married William HAMILTON 3rd of Wishaw, son of William HAMILTON 1st of Wishaw and Beatrix DOUGLAS of Morton, in 1660.1 2 (William HAMILTON 3rd of Wishaw was born about 1630 and died by 1726 1 2.)

"(338) William Hamilton, third of Wishaw, died about 1726. He married, first, 1660, Ann, daughter of John Hamilton of Udston (No. 323), and had: -

(a) William Hamilton, born 4th May 1661 ; died v.p.

(b) Robert (No. 339).

(c) James Hamilton, born 10th January 1666 ; died s.p.

(d) Archibald Hamilton, born 22nd January 1667 ; died December 1732. Will recorded 28th January 1734 and 5th April 1739 (Edinburgh). He married Margaret Hamilton, heiress of Dalserf, who was buried in Greyfriars, Edinburgh, 10th April 1699. They had a son :

- (1) William Hamilton of Dalserf. Will recorded 22nd March 1735 (Edinburgh). He was served heir to his father 14th June 1733. He married, about 13th April 1721, Margaret, daughter of Sir George Weir of Blackwood, and had :

- (a) Archibald Hamilton of Dalserf, died April 1769. He was served heir to his grandfather 24th February 1747 and 26th October 1748. His sister, Margaret, wife of James Hamilton Birnie, was served heir to him 9th June and 7th July 1769.

(e) John Hamilton, born 30th November 1667 ; died sp.

(/) Thomas Hamilton, born 9th October 1669 ; died young."
