Alexander married Agnes GORDON, daughter of Sir Alexander GORDON 4th of Abergeldie and Midmar and Janet IRVINE.¹ (Agnes GORDON was born about 1554.)

He married Agnes Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, 4th of Abergeldie and Janet Irvine.³ He died in 1615.³

He obtained the lands of Ballyhaldat in the barony of Abergeldie through his marriage.⁴(BP2003. [S37])

He was also known as Alexander Robertson of Inchmagranoch.⁴ In 1565 he was served heir.⁴ In 1596 he had a charter of Finlairge, in Cromer, Aberdeenshire."
