Jean married Sir George OGILVY 3rd Lord Banff, son of Sir George OGILVY 2nd Lord Banff, MP, Colonel of the Foot, Burgess of Banff and Agnes FALCONER, 22 and 23 September 1669(contract).1 (Sir George OGILVY 3rd Lord Banff was baptised on 9 September 1649 1 and died in November 1713 in Castle of Inchdrewer, Banff, Aberdeenshire 1 4.)

"He (George Ogilvy) married, contract dated 22 and 23 September 1669, Jean, third daughter of William, seventh Earl Marischal, who raised an action of adherence and aliment against her husband, and on 17 February 1685 was awarded 2000 merks per annum."
