He marr. Barbara Leith (who died 1st Sept. 1756), and had issue George, Provost of Aberdeen (1764-5), bapt. 27th Sept. 1711, died 14th July 1792; Andrew, bapt. 4th Nov. 1712; Margaret, bapt. 17th Nov. 1713; Thomas."
