John married Hendret STEWART, daughter of Alexander STEWART 7th of Tannachy, and of Auchlunkart and Jean URQUHART, in 1756.1 (Hendret STEWART was baptised on 25 October 1734 in Boharm parish, Banffshire, Scotland 2 and died in 1780 in Scotland.)
