General Notes: "ERSKINE Mary married John KEITH 3rd Earl of Kintore, son of William KEITH 2nd Earl of Kintore, Jacobite 1715 and Catherine MURRAY.1 (John KEITH 3rd Earl of Kintore was baptised on 26 July 1699 in Keithhall and Kinkell parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 2 and died on 22 November 1758 in Keithhall and Kinkell parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 1.) Marriage Notes: "John (Keith), third Earl of Kintore, was baptized at Keith Hall on 21 May 1699, succeeded his father in 1718, was appointed Knight Marischal of Scotland in June 1733, and died at Keith Hall 22 November 1758, in the sixtieth year of his age. He married, at Edinburgh, 21 August 1729, Mary, daughter of the Hon. James Erskine, Lord Grange ; she was born 5 July 1714, and died at Edinburgh 9 May 1772. Having no issue, he was succeeded by his brother." |
