Anne next married Archibald CAMPBELL Lord Lorne, 9th Earl of Argyll, son of Archibald CAMPBELL 8th Earl, then Marquess of Argyll and Margaret DOUGLAS, on 28 January 1670.1 (Archibald CAMPBELL Lord Lorne, 9th Earl of Argyll was born on 26 February 1629 in Dalkeith parish, Midlothian, Scotland,1 died on 30 June 1685 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland 1 and was buried in 1685 in Greyfriars Churchyard, Edinburgh, Scotland 1.). The cause of his death was beheading.


  Marriage Notes:

"The Earl of Argyll married, secondly, on Friday 28 January 1670, Anne, second daughter of Colin Mackenzie, first Earl of Seaforth (widow of Alexander, first Earl of Balcarres, who died 1659), but had no issue by her. She was taken up and committed prisoner to Edinburgh, 17 May 1685, on the rumour of her husband's invasion."
