GOLLACHY

The Special Collections catalogue of the University of Aberdeen lists many papers of Gordon of Cluny. Among them are papers relating to Gollachy. It points to the fact that Gollachy belonged to the Buckie estate of Gordon of Cluny. The earliest papers referring specifically to Gollachy appear to date from 1739, although the Gordon of Cluny papers themselves date from 1665. ²

Margaret married Alexander GORDON Cluny, Merchant in Aberdeen, son of Sir John GORDON last Baronet of Cluny and Unknown. (Alexander GORDON Cluny, Merchant in Aberdeen was born about 1670 and died before 9 August 1722 ^{3 4}.)
