Adam married Marjorie 3rd Countess of Carrick, daughter of Neil 2nd Earl of Carrick, Regent and Guardian of Scotland and Isabel STEWART.1 (Marjorie 3rd Countess of Carrick was born about 1252 and died by 27 October 1292 1.) Marriage Notes: "Margaret or Marjorie, Countess of Carrick, married first, Adam de Kilconcath,who, in her right, was third Earl of Carrick. Engaging in the Crusade 1269, he went to the Holy Land under the banners of Louis IX. of France, and died at Acre, in Palestine, 1270. By him Marjorie had no issue." (page 426) |
