John married Katherine GRAY, daughter of Gilbert GRAY of Schivas and Unnamed WIFE, about 12 April 1551 (liferent charter).1 (Katherine GRAY was born about 1535.) Marriage Notes: "John Mortimer of Craigievar, m. Katherine, daughter of Gilbert Gray of Scheves, and to whom, in consideration of their marriage, his grandfather, William Mortimer of Craigievar, granted a liferent charter for the lands of Loquhell of Shielfield on 12 April 1551." |
