"THOMAS WILSON (primus), born 21st Nov. 1743, son of preceding [James Wilson]; educated at King s College, Aberdeen;
M.A. (1st April 1761); licen. by Presb. of Turriff 27th Aug. 1766; pres. by George III. in April, and ord. (assistant and
successor) 25th June 1771; died 16th April 1830. He marr. 11th Aug. 1780, Elizabeth (died 20th Jan. 1808), daugh. of Theodore Gordon, min. of Kennethmont, and had issue Anne, born 6th May 1781; Christian, born 17th Oct. 1782; George, born 8th March 1784; Susan, born 11th March 1786; Katherine, born 13th Nov. 1787 (marr. 27th Oct. 1807, Hugh Gordon of Dominica); Hugh, born 16th June 1789; Margaret born 10th April 1791 (marr. 22nd Nov. 1807, James William Grant of Elchies) died 28th Jan. 1855; Thomas, his successor in this parish; Mary, born 5th Sept 1794; Elizabeth, born 7th Oct. 1796 (marr. 23rd Nov. 1823, Captain Joseph Walker, East India Company Artillery); Johanna Nicolson, born 4th Aug. 1798. Thomas married Elizabeth GORDON, daughter of Reverend Mr Theodore GORDON Minister of Kennethmont and Rathmureal and Barbara FORBES, on 11 August 1780.1 (Elizabeth GORDON was born about 1754 and died on 20 January 1808 1.)
