George married Jean ANDERSON, daughter of William ANDERSON and Elizabeth McWILLIAM, on 25 September 1788.1 (Jean ANDERSON was baptised on 16 August 1752 in Aberlour parish, Banffshire, Scotland 2 and died on 6 March 1844 1.)

George Cruickshank, born 1753; educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen; M.A. (1771); schoolmaster of Inveraven, 1772-88; licen. by Presb. of Aberlour 30th June 1778; assistant to preceding (James Ogilvie) 20th March 1785; pres. by George III (assistant and successor) 12th May 1788, and again to the full charge before 14th Aug., and ord. 25th Sept. 1788; died 15th June 1838. He marr. 25th Sept. 1788, Jean Anderson, who died s.p. 6th March 1844, aged 91. Publication Account of the Parish (Sinclair's Stat. Acc., iii.).
