"The death certificate of Robert Farquharson in Tolduquhill who died in 1859 and was buried near to Strathdon kirk showed his parents to be William Farquharson and Cicilia Farquharson ms Forbes. Presumably this William is his father? Also Cecil[ia] Farquharson, female of 80, appears in the 1841 census in the family of Charles Farquharson above. "
