Gordons Under Arms notes that Helen was 78 years old when she died, which seems a bit high considering her husband's dates. There was a Helen Ord, father William, christened in Deskford Banffshire in 1725. ¹

Helen married Lieutenant James GORDON, son of George GORDON 7th of Buckie, Jacobite 1745 and Anna GORDON of Cairnfield. (Lieutenant James GORDON was born about 1748 and died on 27 May 1800 in Cullen parish, Banffshire, Scotland ¹.)
