This man may be the son of Andrew Brebner, burgess of Aberdeen, who had lands alienated to him by way of feu by William Gordon, the last Pre-Reformation Bishop of Aberdeen. The elder Andrew Brebner was feuer or vassal of South Spittal and Wester Peter, "afterwards distinguished by the name of Froghall".(Annals of Aberdeen) ²

Androw married Elspet GORDON, daughter of James GORDON in Nether Buckie and Unknown, After 9 January 1647(bond).¹ (Elspet GORDON was born about 1632.)
