Research Notes:

Curiously there is no record of the baptism of Magdalene Duff daughter to William Duff of Corsendae, but there is a baptism in 1738 in Midmar, where she married, of a Magdalen Duff, daughter of James Duff and Margaret Strcahan. ⁴

Magdalene married John DINGWALL younger, Merchant & Dean of Guild of Aberdeen, son of William DINGWALL of Culsh and Lucretia DINGWALL, on 15 September 1763 in Midmar parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ ² (John DINGWALL younger, Merchant & Dean of Guild of Aberdeen was born in June 1738 and died on 10 June 1778.)
