Helen married Alexander GORDON in Tullochallum, son of John GORDON in Tullochallum and Mary DAWSON.¹ (Alexander GORDON in Tullochallum was born on 7 May 1781 in Mortlach parish, Banffshire, Scotland ⁵, baptised on 10 May 1781 in Banffshire, Scotland ⁵ and died on 18 August 1863 in Errolbank, Dufftown, Banffshire, Scotland ⁶.). The cause of his death was old age.

"Also of HELEN CLARK, the beloved wife of Alex. Gordon, who died at Tullochallum 1822 aged 28 years R.I.P."

XXIV. Helen Clark, mentioned in the next inscription, was a sister of the late Sir James Clark, M.D. : -

+ In pious memory of John Gordon, who succeeded to the farm of Tullochalum, 1771, and died there 1820, aged 82. Mary Dawson, his spouse, died 1824, aged 72. And of their children, William, who died in Jamaica, 1802; Anne, died at Tullochalum, 1811; Thomas, Capt. 92nd Regt., 'Gordon Highlanders,' died in Jamaica, 1819; James, died at Aberdeen, 1824; Rev. John, died at Edinburgh, 1832; George, S.S.C., Edinburgh, died at Paisley, 1868 (see Note below). Also of Helen Clark, the beloved wife of Alex. Gordon, who died at Tullochalum, 1822, aged 28 years. R.I.P."
